Receiveit 3.1 is now capable to receive any files and store them on your RAM and expansion card. The PC version will allow you to move/copy the files that receiveit has intercepted on your handheld onto your desktop.

Quick step Guide

  1. Remove/Uninstall Receiveit application first on your handheld if exists.
  2. Install Receiveit 3.1 for Windows® (setup.exe) and handheld (receiveit.prc). Follow the instruction on the screen.
  3. Tap Receiveit icon on your handheld to receive any file via Infrared® or Bluetooth™ (On the fly mode).
  4. To check where your files has been stored, tap on the 6th icon at the bottom of your screen (Log List)

Advance Guide

  1. Installation
    • Double click on setup.exe for Windows® version installation and follow the instruction on your screen.
    • Double click on receiveit.prc and do a hotsync

     

  2. Receiving Files from other devices
    1. Option 1 - Grab all
      • Tap on Receiveit icon. When the text "Ready for receiving file" (On the fly mode) is blinking than you can immediately begin accepting any files from other device via Infrared® or Bluetooth™. Just choose the saving location if you'd like by clicking the dotted line*1.

       

    2. Option 2 - Grab registered types and select application
      If you are familiar with file type and extension name, frequently receive these type of files, or you want other certain application as a default handler of these file types, you might want to register them into Receiveit using the Default Application(s) screen.
      • Tap on the 2nd icon at the bottom of your screen. You will see the Default Application(s) screen.
      • Enter the extension names to be registered.
      • Select the triangle icon to choose which application*2 should handle this type of file when it is receiving.
      • Select the folder icon to choose which location you prefer the files to be stored when you set Receiveit as the handler.

       

       

    3. Option 3 - Grab the rests
      Any other files which are not recognized by any application on your handheld will be automatically handled by Receiveit.

     

  3. Filtering the incoming files while you are in Receiveit application
    Receiveit 3.1 is equipped by a new feature. When you are on Receiveit screen, you will intercept any kind of incoming files. If you are frequently receiving this type of files, you might want to use this feature. You can filter-out the incoming files and save them into locations specifically set for each.
    1. Tap on the 3rd icon to open Folder Filter screen.
    2. Enter the extension name
    3. The default setting will be using your RAM to store the incoming files. To edit the default setting, pick an extension name and tap on 'Change' button, then choose the saving location and tap 'Select' to save the setting.
          

     

  4. Receiveit File Manager
    Note: Receiveit File Manager is designed primarily to be used with files intercepted by Receiveit.
    1. Tap on the 4th icon at the bottom of your screen to see the File Manager screen.
    2. Select the folder and tap on the 'View Files'.
    3. Tap on the yellow dot icon to select what action you'd like to do with the file when do the Hotsync. (Tap on the 'i' icon on the top-right of your screen to see the explanation.)
    4. Tap and hold on the file name to pop up a file menu to delete, rename, beam, send and copy file.
         

     

  5. Viewing files to be transferred to your PC.
    1. Tap on the 5th icon to see the 'Files to be transferred' screen.
    2. Here you can see file(s) that will be copied or moved to your PC

     

  6. Log files
    See the last 10 actions taken by Receiveit
         

 

Notes:

*1 You can set one default folder or use Folder Filter function

*2 The application that exists within your handheld. Red Letters means the application resides in your memory card.
